Doug Woods

Doug Woods is a graduate of the Dog Wizard Training Academy and a professional member of The International Association of Canine Professionals and The Association of Professional Dog Trainers. He is committed to providing the most effective and convenient solutions to his clients’ dog training needs. Doug avidly pursues ongoing continuing education and professional development by attending seminars and keeping current on training industry best practices. The Dog Wizard puts clients first and is well respected and referred to by local veterinarians and other dog welfare organizations.

When not helping clients to enjoy easier lives with their canine companions, Doug likes spending time with his dogs, Huey and Dewey, two Jack Russell Terriers. He also works with a local Non-Profit organization, Helping Animals to Survive (H.A.T.S.) where he is a Board Member and is responsible for leading the Volunteer and Spay/Neuter programs.

The Mooresville Dog Wizard provides services to the Denver, Mooresville, Statesville and Troutman, North Carolina areas.

Jonathon Johnson

Born and raised on a farm in the Appalachian mountains, Jonathan has always loved working with animals. Since a young boy he has had all types of dogs and breeds ranging from Boxers, Cattle Dogs, and King Charles Cavaliers. Always surrounding himself around animals, in his teen years he was a stable hand at a local horse farm working with and caring for horses. As career choices began to be a part of his decision, a dog training career seemed like a natural next step for him. Jonathan and his dog, Zero (a 12 year old Boxer) are new to the area but certainly not new to working with animals. His love of both people and animals makes him a great fit for joining The Dog Wizard team, and we feel very lucky to have him!

Amy C

Amy is a recent transplant to Charlotte, and The Dog Wizard is very lucky to have her on the team!  Amy has a very important role with being the first point of contact for Dog Wizard clients.  She helps manage the day-to-day needs, phone calls, and appointments which she does so well. The best part about her job is not only getting to talk with clients about their dogs but also having her rescue mutt, Winston, hang out with her all day!  We would be lost without her.

Noelle has been part of The Dog Wizard family since she started her path as a trainer in Charleston SC in 2012. After 5 years in the Lowcountry and 4 years of helping dogs and their owners to have a better life, it was time to get back to her roots in New Jersey. It was a tough decision not to be hands on with owners and their dogs but now as the office manager she gets to continue to be part of the wizard family and clients lives! Her first hand knowledge of the training side adds a huge benefit to the day to day operations in the office. It  helps us be more efficient, creating processes to help better our clients experience as she understands our clients needs that much more! Whether you are a first time caller or a current client, Noelle’s passion for canine’s and their people exudes from the moment you start talking to her. She has an unending love for her three dogs Lexi, Trinity and her newest addition Huckleberry as well as the man that stands by her side, Evan. Noelle is focusing on field trial obedience with Huckleberry and has the pleasure of frequenting the river with the dogs and exploring the beautiful trails and landscape of The Garden State.
